Our Gingerbread houses
Yesterday we started our gingerbread houses. We had lots of fun using cement icing to glue the gram crackers together. Tomorrow we are going to decorate our houses using candies. We will bring our decorated houses home tomorrow to share and eat with our families.

Gingerbread houses
To celebrate the
start of the winter holiday students are going to make their own small
gingerbread house. We are asking for donations of small candies that kids can
use to decorate their house. If you can donate some candy please make sure it
is gluten and peanut free. We will be decorating houses on Wednesday. If you
have any questions please e-mail or speak with me after school.
Thank-you Miss Hoekstra

Poem of the week
Here is a copy of this week’s poem that you can read with your child.
Snowball
I made myself a snowball,
as perfect as could be.
I thought I’d keep it as a pet
and let it sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas,
And a pillow for its head.
Then last night, it ran away.
But first, it wet the bed!
